The Boot Camp for Applicants in Policing Program (BCAPP) is open to all female CPS applicants in the second stage of their recruiting process  who are near or just under the physical capacity to pass their A-PREP test. The goal of this program is for those who sign up to progressively build on a combination of technical instruction, cardiovascular training, strength development and mindset discussions over the course of 8 weeks.  Applicants who are interested can sign up directly through their file manager. These classes take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 1800-2000 at Westwinds Police HQ with the next class starting May 9th, 2022.

Is there a difference between A-PREP Orientation and BCAAP?

Yes. The difference between A-PREP orientation and the BCAPP is that the orientation is a one-off session designed to familiarize applicants with the structure and technical elements of the A-PREP, whereas the boot camp is 8 weeks of physical and mental preparation for the A-PREP.
